== My best learning experience ==

My undergraduate degree was taken at the Open University as I returned to Education as an adult (hence my interest in widening participation).
A year into my course I undertook a 'Learning Styles Questionnaire' (Honey & Mumford) and it was the most useful tool I've ever used. Discovering that I was a 'Reflector', made a lot of sense and allowed me to tailor my learning to my own natural style.

Nick is the head of the [http://www.rvc.ac.uk/eMedia/Index.cfm eMedia Unit] at the [[RVC|Royal Veterinary College]] and is one of the founding members of the WikiVet project and is currently overseeing strategic development. He is also involved in working with veterinary schools and other publishers to establish collaborative partnerships.

Nick has a particular interest in making content available as free resources wherever possible. In particular he has been working on new ways to increase access to WikiVet in developing countries.

I work for the Higher Education Academy Subject Centre for Medicine, Dentistry and Veterinary Medicine which is based within the School of Medical Sciences Education Development at Newcastle University. My role as Education Advisor covers all three subjects - but my remit is predominantly Veterinary education and development.

== What I hope to get out of this project ==

When writing the original bid for 'vetschools', the WikiVet project looked like the perfect springboard from which to launch the idea of creating and sharing resources amongst all of the UK Veterinary Schools. I am hoping this project will motivate all participants (and vet schools) to continue their successful collaboration.

== My best learning experience ==

My undergraduate degree was taken at the Open University as I returned to Education as an adult (hence my interest in widening participation).
A year into my course I undertook a 'Learning Styles Questionnaire' (Honey & Mumford) and it was the most useful tool I've ever used. Discovering that I was a 'Reflector', made a lot of sense and allowed me to tailor my learning to my own natural style.

== Interests ==

It all interests me, if it benefits the Veterinary Education constituency :)
