  • Horses
  • In young horses, tends to regress in older horses
  • Immune respone and exposure to infection
  • Stertorous inspiration and/or expiration
  • Grossly:
    • White foci, variable in size on dorsolateral pharynx, extending to openings of guttural pouches and onto soft palate
  • Microscopically:
    • Hyperplasia of lymphoid cells within the nodules
