Nematodes of Poultry and Game Birds

Nematodes are not normally of significance in intensively housed poultry in the UK or USA, but they can be a problem in free-range birds, and are of importance in ornamental and game birds, particularly pheasants and grouse. In developing countries, however, village chickens play a vital role in the rural economy and are prone to a wide range of nematode and other parasitic diseases.
