Vetsteam and WikiVet
WikiVet has reached an agreement with Vetstream whereby all our student users will be able to access Vetstream content free of charge. This provides students with a major new clinical educational and reference resource which will be invaluable to veterinary studies as well as clinical practice.
For recent graduates, we have also secured a special deal so that existing WikiVet users will get a reduction in subscription rates. Graduates in their first year of practice will get a 66% discount whilst second year graduates get a 33% discount.
Veterinary schools who sign up for an institutional licence also stand to benefit - of importance to WikiVet is the fact that institutions from developing nations will benefit from preferential terms in line with their economic development.
Finally, it is important to note that access to WikiVet content will remain completely free. However, we do receive a commission for users who decide to register with Vetstream So we hope that you find that free access to Vetstream is useful to you and that when you graduate you will be encouraged to subscribe and help subsidise access to WikiVet for future generations of students.

We have created an "API" which enables student users of WikiVet to also access this Vetstream content without logging in. You will be asked on first visit to confirm that you are happy to share your user data with Vetstream to enable authentication.
Graduate users of WikiVet will still be required to register with Vetstream to receive the relevant discount rate.

Vetstream provides the world’s largest online source of peer-reviewed point-of care veterinary content for the veterinary treatment of Dogs, Cats, Horses and Rabbits via its Canis, Felis, Equis and Lapis services.
Canis, Felis, Lapis and Equis are online encyclopaedias of point-of-care clinical veterinary information about the diagnosis and treatment of disease in companion animals (dogs, cats, rabbits and horses) which vets subscribe to access. Each week new and updated information is added to the services so that the subscribers continue to have the best point of care clinical information that we can provide for them.
Updated weekly, content is presented in text, picture, video and audio format and has been submitted by over 800 of the world's leading veterinary clinicians. All content includes editorial board oversight and peer review, so you can rest assured that the clinical information on Vetstream is dependable and of a high standard.
