Xenodontinae is a subfamily of Colubridae. They come from North and South America and some have enlarged rear fangs of an unusual arrangement (xenodontine). Genera include massuranas (Clelia spp.), ringnecked snakes (Diadophis spp.) and hognose snakes (Heterodon spp.).
