  • Contains a few species of veterinary significance (e.g. Habronema and Thelazia)
  • The male tail is a flat spiral
  • Spicules are unequal
  • Indirect life-cycle:
    • female worm → small narrow larvated eggs → arthropod intermediate host
  • Various predilection sites
