=== Newsletter Editor ===

I have previously been responsible for putting together the WikiVet newsletter, which is sent out to all WikiVet users who wish to receive it. It is designed to keep you up to date with all the many changes that are going on with WikiVet, and also suggests content we think you may find interesting.

I'm particularly interested in ways in which useful and engaging [[ELearning_showcase|eLearning activites]] can be incorporated into WikiVet to complement the existing content.

About me

I graduated from the RVC in the Summer of 2008 and had such a fab time that I didn't leave!

I'm currently working for the e-Media unit and am involved in developing a range of e-Learning materials for students, one of which is the Canine Radiographs programwhich is now downloadable

Since working for the RVC i've become increasingly interested in the use of Virtual Patients in Veterinary Education. These are computer simulations of patients that you are able to interact with, diagnose and treat. These are used extensively in medical education and are now starting to creep in to Veterinary education. Expect to see more virtual patients appearing on WikiVet soon!
