Subsequently, Nick travelled to the South of India to meet colleagues at the TANUVAS veterinary school in Chennai followed by a visit to the veterinary college in Bangalore. TANUVAS has been working for the past 3 years to develop an entire online veterinary curriculum for the Indian profession. It was agreed to explore the possibility of linking this resource which will be used by over 50 veterinary schools in India with WikiVet. In Bangalore, academics and students have already been using WikiVet extensively and the opportunity to extend the content to address Indian requirements, for example water buffalo anatomy was explored.
