Robert is a postdoctoral researcher in Molecular Immunology in the department of Pathology and Infectious Diseases based on the Hawkshead Lane campus of the Royal Veterinary College, UK. His main interest is the cell biology of the immune system, in particular the innate immune system. He gained his PhD in 2012 from Cardiff University looking at the changes in Ca2+ signalling in neutrophils as they undergo programmed cell death (apoptosis).
