What's it all about?
We want to see WikiVet being used all over the world, so we want our users to take photo's including this logo in as many different locations around the globe as possible.
What do I have to do?
Take a picture that must include the 'Where's WikiVet?' logo featured on this page - we'd suggest printing the 'Where's WikiVet' PDF which features the logo, although you could include it on a mobile device or laptop if you're feeling particularly cunning! You should then go somewhere exciting (and hopefully recognizable) and take a picture of the logo in that location - perhaps you could take it to the Pyramids, to the Eiffel Tower, to see Big Ben in London, wherever you are really!
"Where's WikiVet?" started off as WikiVet's first ever photo competition. During April 2012, WikiVet members were invited to email in photos they had taken. 4 entries were submitted from Tunisia, Scotland, Italy and St Kitts. At the close of voting the winner of the competition with 460 Facebook likes was the entry from Tunisia. The competition is now over, but if you'd like to send in your photos still then we'll include them on the Where's WikiVet map above!
When do I have to do it?
The deadline for images that will be accepted was midnight(ish), on Monday 30th April 2012 - so the deadline has now passed.
The accepted images were posted into an album on our Facebook page. You can vote on your favourite image by 'liking' it in the album. The photo with the most likes by Friday 11th May was the entry from Tunisia - they've won the first prize of a £50 Amazon voucher.
Future competitions
We're hoping to run some more competition themes in the future, so please help us make this one a success!
