As viewed under x4 magnification, the presence of ear mites was confirmed.
A close up taken under the x10 objective is shown. Note the closed apodemes which are characteristic of this mite.

How would you treat this condition?
- Ear mites can be treated with some of the available medicated ear drop preparations and most data sheets will contain treatment protocols specifically for this condition. Selamectin spot-on is also licenced for the treatment of ear mites.
