About me

I have litertally just finished the vet med course and have been qualified for a matter of days. The work load has been pretty heavy over the last year or two so i havent had that much time for hobbys but i really enjoy skiing, road cylcing, tennis and squash

What I hope to get out of this project

I am hoping that working on the project will serve as good revision and will give me some editing/web design experience

My best learning experience in the past

I very much learn by doing and thus i learnt far more on rotations than i did in lectures

Curriculum area that interests me

I genuinely enjoy all aspects of veterinary medicine, over the last 3 years my focus has been clinical work so it will be good to go back and review some pre clincal subjects

Topics that are difficult

I always managed to get confused by the physiology of the kidney, i dont know why as it is all very logical

Day one thoughts

What (three things) I learn't today

  • How to edit things on the wiki
  • that the rest of the team is incredibly competent
  • that the wiki is a massive project

What I still need to learn

How I feel about what has happened today

Three weeks into the wikivet project (or thereabouts)

Sections I've been working on

What I feel I've gained so far from being involved in the project

Problems or issues that I've had or can forsee

  • T

My suggestions for improving the way the project works for the future

What involvement (if any!) I would like to have with the project in the future
