These are best regarded as variants of the [[Sarcoid - Donkey|sarcoid]] and as such have the same
clinical implications and treatments. Several other fibroblast tumours have
been recorded in equidae such as the neurofibroma, myxoma and spindle
cell sarcoma but these too are sarcoid variants for practical purposes.
