General Appearance

  • Non-bursate
  • Female tail long and tapering
  • Pharynx is double-bulbed

General Life-Cycle

  • Direct and non-migratory
  • Live in the large intestine
  • Eggs are deposited on perineal skin
  • Eggs are asymmetrical and have an operculum at one end.
