Endoparasitism - Rabbit

The treatment of all parasites of rabbits must include hygienic measures to prevent reinfection. Giardia duodenalis can be found in the duodenum but does not cause clinical disease (Harcourt Brown 2002). The liver fluke, Fasciola hepatica, has been encountered in wild rabbits and must be considered a possibility in the free range pet.
