Introduction
During November each year a strange disease appears to affect many human males which results in a proliferation of crazy hair across their upper lip, often descending further down their faces in intricate patterns. This syndrome is described as Moustachitis, and commonly occurs in Movember, sorry, November...
Aetiology
This syndrome is all in aid of raising awareness for men's health problems. More information about this can be found at the official Movember website.

Diagnosis
A diagnosis of moustachitis doesn't need any expensive tests - generally a look at the upper lip is sufficient. Imaging in the form of photographs may be used to further confirm the disease and then help publicise it's spread.
Treatment
Generally no treatment is required, although supportive wives/girlfriends do help. Many of these moustaches seem to disappear at the end of November or beginning of December.
