Introduction
The School of Veterinary and Life Sciences (“VLS”) was formed in January 2013 from an amalgamation of the Schools of Veterinary and Biomedical Science, Biological Sciences and Biotechnology, Environmental Science, and Chemistry. The combination of these individually strong areas has resulted in a new and enlarged School with major strengths in teaching and research across the whole of the life sciences.
The School has an internationally accredited veterinary course embedded in it and has close access to farmland and to a major tertiary hospital precinct.
