About me
I graduated from the Royal Veterinary College, London, UK in 2009 with a BVetMed Degree. I also hold a BSc (Hons) in Veterinary Conservation Medicine from Liverpool University. After qualifying, I worked on a number of educational initiatives with the RVC and East African Universities, and worked alongside VetAid, before taking a job in a small animal and exotics practice in Horsham, UK. I also volunteered regularly at a large wildlife hospital, Wildlife Aid, and was particularly involved in wildlife and exotic patient care in practice. In 2013, I took the position as Veterinary Officer for the RSPCA Stapeley Grange Wildlife Hospital in Cheshire. Since taking on this role, I have developed and continue to run a clinical rotation in wildlife and exotics for final year vet students from Liverpool Vet School. In addition to this I am an honorary lecturer, and run regular CPD and training events across the country, as well as speaking at conferences, and providing organisational training in wildlife triage and care. I obtained the RCVS Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice in Zoological Medicine and have completed modules towards a Post Graduate Certificate in Higher Education.

WikiVet involvement
I was a keen user of WikiVet throughout my revision, but my first involvement with WikiVet development was in Summer 2009, where I coordinated the development of WikiQuiz; an RCVS Trust funded intiative to create a bank of multiple choice quizzes within WikiVet. These quizzes include questions from across the site, with comprehensive feedback, and links back in to the relevant WikiVet Content. I am now acting as WikiMaster; overseeing the general progress of the site, and coordinating the developments across different sections, as well as liaising regularly with the authoring and editing teams, and the steering group.
