The creation of these images was supported by a RCVS trust small grants scheme award held by Dr's David Gardner and Rachael Tarlinton (University of Nottingham). The images were created under ethical approval from the University of Nottingham’s School of Veterinary Medicine and Science non-ASPA ethics committee. All live animal images were collected for clinical purposes. No animals were euthanased specifically for this study. Special thanks to Dr Karl Klisch (Lecturer of Clinical Veterinary Anatomy, University of Nottingham), Sara Perez (Minster Vets, Poultry team) and Dr Mike Targett (Associate professor of Veterinary Neurology, University of Nottingham) for their expertise in rabbit and poultry anatomy and CT and MRI imaging in interpreting the images. Thanks also to Bernard Walsh (Vetscan) for kindly donating the canine IVU series and Asher Allison (University of Nottingham) for technical assistance in making the images available on WikiVet. |
