Secondary tumours are uncommon:
- Transcoelomic spread, direct implantation
- Ovarian, bile duct carcinomas, pancreatic and intestinal adenocarcinomas, gastric squamous cell carcinomas or any other abdominal neoplasia
- Widespread metastases on peritoneum = carcinosis
