Characteristics
Aeromonas salmonicida is one of the species belonging to the genus Aeromonas. It is a non-motlie, Gram-negative bacteria. It causes Furunculosis in salmon and goldfish. A.salmonicida tests positive for oxidase, lysine decarboxylase, methyl red, gelatin hydrolysis, and catalase.
