Davainea Species - Tapeworms of Poultry
- A tiny (approximately 3mm) tapeworm with only 4-9segments.
- Has hooks around the suckers as well as on the rostellum.
- Uses molluscan intermediate hosts.
- Causes haemorrhagic enteritis in poultry and pigeons.
