Kingsnakes are common pet snakes of the genus Lampropeltis (subfamily Colubrinae, family Colubridae). They include scarlet kingsnakes (L. triangulum elapsoides), grey- banded kingsnakes (L. alterna), Californian kingsnakes (L. getulus californae) and Florida kingsnakes (L. getulus floridana). The common kingsnake (L. getulus) has a wide range of North America and is terrestrial. Their POTZ is 23-30° with a humidity of 50-70%. <gallery widths="115px" perrow="6">
