Zygomatic Salivary Gland
- Only in carnivores
- Duct opens in vestibule on mucosal ridge by 4 or 5 orifices
Histology
- Tubulo-acinar gland
- Mainly mucosal cells (lighter stain)
- Few serous demilunes but minor contribution (darker stain)
