- Equine Paramyxovirus (equine morbillivirus)
- Causes espiratory infections with respiratory distress and paralysis
- Oedematous lungs with distention of pleura
- Microscopically: diffuse alveolar oedema, syncytial cells
- Potentially zoonotic (beware palpating inside the throat for obstruction)
