Professional biography

Lisa is a European Veterinary Specialist in veterinary dentistry retired from clinical work due to the diagnosis of motor neurone disease. Trustee of the charity, International Animal Rescue

She has been Principal of a dedicated specialist veterinary dental and oral surgery clinic in the UK. As well as an independent research consultant for a pet food and treats company offering advice regarding dental trials and research projects. She has also been a part time clinician at Bristol University teaching first opinion dentistry to final year students

Recently she has been involved in charity work as a veterinary dentist for International Animal Rescue working at projects in India and Indonesia with rescued dancing bears, tigers, slow lorises rescued from the pet trade as well as other primates (macaques and orangutans)

• Member of the credential committee for the European Veterinary Dental College (current) • Trustee for the charity International Animal Rescue (2010-present) • Supervisor for 3 alternative pathway program candidates • Past president of the British Veterinary Dental Association (2008-2011) • Course Organiser for the BVDA (2005-2008) • BVDA committee member (2003-2005) • BVNA certificate in dentistry course tutor, 2009-2012
