Iridoviridae: a family of viruses which comprises three genera:-
- Lymphocystivirus contains lymphocystis disease virus 1 (a disease of fish)
- Megalocytivirus contains the virus of infectious spleen and kidney necrosis of fish
- Ranavirus contains epizootic haematopoietic necrosis virus and European catfish virus
