Snakes of the subfamily Homalopsinae (family Colubridae) are aquatic and feed on fish, amphibians and crustaceans. They are found throughout southeast Asia and northern Australasia. Homalopsinae have valved nostrils, small upward pointing eyes and rear fangs.
