Kim Whittlestone is Senior Lecturer in Independent Learning at the Royal Veterinary College (RVC) and one of the founding members of WikiVet. After qualifying from the RVC in 1989, Kim worked at the University of Bristol alongside a veterinary locum job in Portishead. In 2001 he helped to establish the Centre for Applied Research in Educational Technologies at the University of Cambridge and in 2006 joined the [http://www.live.ac.uk LIVE Centre] at the RVC.

Kim is particularly interested in how students approach their learning and how their teachers, peers and emerging technologies, influence this approach. Kim recently completed his MA in Medical Education.
