16th December 2010 - WikiVet goes International!

WikiVet now has registered users in almost every country in the world – see where our users all are. (link to map/user statistics, can we link to the map that you’ve used Asher? If not then I guess don’t bother) Work has begun on adapting content to suit some of this international audience; this has included translating content, adapting material to suit local veterinary curricula and student authoring exchanges.

For example, the Royal Veterinary College has a partnership with the veterinary school in Murcia (link to Murcia page, would have to create first), Spain which has been active in translating e-learning content from English to Spanish. RVC students have then been able to translate Murcia’s resources into English, all of which are appearing on WikiVet. Find out more about this collaboration
