Male
- Sexually mature at 6-8 weeks.
oestrus cycle 4-5 d, mice have post partum oestrus duration of oestrus- 14h gestation rats- 20-22d, mice 19-21d, delayed if lactating.
Female
- Non-seasonal polyoestrus
- Ejaculate plug forms in the vagina.
