Acute Diarrhoea in dogs and cats
Resource Information
Description | Acute diarrhoea is a common complaint seen in first-opinion small animal veterinary practice. Even though it is often self-limiting and likely to resolve with symptomatic treatment alone, antibiotics are frequently prescribed as part of the therapeutic management plan. Faecal analysis can be a useful diagnostic tool to guide our treatment choices, however it may be difficult to distinguish the significance of these results. In this webinar, we cover these interesting topics in more detail to help answer some common uncertainties surrounding the use of antibiotics in cases of acute diarrhoea. |
