About me
Currently, I am a 4th year veterinary student at the University of Edinburgh. I graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a degree in PreMedicine and Anthropology in 1994. In 1996 I completed the Veterinary Technician program at Purdue University. Most of my working career was spent at the San Francisco Zoo.

What I hope to get out of this project
To explore ways in which veterinary students can gather and assimilate information.
My best learning experience
I've learnt best from identifying my own mistakes - That really won't be a viable tact once I'm a vet, though. I have the most fun learning when I can really get dirty and throw my hands into a project. Big diagrams are always a plus.
Pathology that interests me
Clinical Pathology and Gross Necropsies
Pathology that is difficult
Endocrinology
Day one thoughts
I have a lot to learn.
Three weeks into the wikivet project (or thereabouts)
I'm more comfortable with the environment.
Sections I've been working on
- Clinical Pathology|Clinical Biochemistry
- Clinical Pathology|Urine Analysis
What I feel I've gained so far from being involved in the project
- a wee bit of Wiki acumen
- pathology revision
Problems or issues that I've had or can forsee
- I'd love to find some way to integrate information in a visual format, but the mindmap epiphany isn't coming to me yet...
- cross linking information
My suggestions for improving the way the project works for the future
- Let me gain a bit more confidence in this before I start critiquing!
What involvement (if any!) I would like to have with the project in the future
- help develop more visuals
