Oniris provides a 5-year course with three years of theoretical education and the last two years at the teaching hospital. The fourth „all clinical“ year is entirely devoted to clinical activities in farm animals, horses and small animals, and the fifth year is dedicated to one path (farm animals, horses or small animals) to get deeper training and get prepared to professional activity.

Oniris offers that you get more skills and knowledge by following one of the three internship program it offers: small animal clinics, equine medicine or large animal clinics. An internship is a full-time annual program aiming to get operational skills in medicine and surgery. Each of the four French Vet Schools offers an internship programme in small animal clinics. The recruitment is common to the four Veterinary Schools in the form of a national competitive examination.

Oniris provides also Master Degrees, such as the MAN-IMAL program, an international higher education degree program exclusively founded on the “One World, One Health” initiative, (entirely taught in English), as well as PhD, with around 75 candidates.
