Reptiles have lymphatic vessels but most lack lymph nodes. The vessels have muscular dilations known as "lymph hearts" which serve to propel the fluid into the venous system.

Lymph follicles are present within the spleen or gastrointestinal tract. Thymic tissue is present in reptiles but its location and form may vary between species.
