Changes

Hyperphosphataemia occurs from excessive dietary phosphorus, hypervitaminosis D and renal disease. Phosphorus may be the only biochemical parameter increased in renal failure. Hypophosphataemia may occur with anorexia, starvation or other nutritional imbalances.
