Introduction

History

Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Lublin (www.weterynaria.up.lublin.pl) was established in 1944 as one of the faculties belonging to University of Maria Skłodowska-Curie. It was located within the university campus together with other faculties, the main library, cultural centre and student houses. In the meantime, the structure of faculty was reorganized and finally, in 1995, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine became one of the Faculties at the Agricultural University in Lublin which lately was renamed to University of Life Sciences. At present Faculty in Lublin is one of 4 Faculties of Veterinary Medicine in Poland.
