Bara qualified as a veterinarian from the [[Royal Veterinary College, London, UK|Royal Veterinary College (RVC)]] after having worked as a veterinary nurse previously. During her university years, she also completed Animal Behaviour and Welfare BSc at the [[UK - Bristol Veterinary School, Bristol|University of Bristol]]. Her interests and studies include information technology so being involved with WikiVet is an ideal way of combining the two worlds. Having started as an author for WikiVet at its inception, her role has now evolved into overseeing the content and managing projects (e.g [[Feline Behaviour]], [[Small Animal Dentistry]], [[Nutrients]], [[OVAM]], [[OVAL]]). Apart from her involvement with WikiVet, she also helped create educational resources for the [[Royal Veterinary College, London, UK|RVC]], [http://www.fao.org/ag/againfo/commissions/eufmd/commissions/eufmd-home/en/ EuFMD] and [http://www.ahdb.org.uk/ AHDB]. Her other main interests revolve mainly around horses, how their behaviour is affected by nutrition, general wellbeing, environment and our own perceptions, emotions and behaviour.
