Newsletter Editor
 +
I have previously been responsible for putting together the WikiVet newsletter, which is sent out to all WikiVet users who wish to receive it.  It is designed to keep you up to date with all the many changes that are going on with WikiVet, and also suggests content we think you may find interesting.
   −
I graduated from the RVC in the Summer of 2008 and had such a fab time that I didn't leave!
+
eLearning development
 +
I'm particularly interested in ways in which useful and engaging eLearning activites can be incorporated into WikiVet to complement the existing content.
   −
I'm currently working for the e-Media unit and am involved in developing a range of e-Learning materials for students, one of which is the Canine Radiographs programwhich is now downloadable
+
Facebook page monitor
 +
I was responsible for monitoring WikiVet's facebook page which is a space for users to discuss WikiVet issues and communicate more informally with the WikiVet team.
   −
Before coming to University (when I still had spare time!) I was a member of the Air Training Corps. This meant I got to do what most boys love; shooting rifles, flying planes, that kind of thing.  It was here that I really learned the value of Teamwork that I hope to bring into my worklife now
+
WikiVet Media
 +
I used to look after WikiVet's Media site too, so if a user posts a video here I used to categorise it.

I hope to be able to develop the WikiClinical side of WikiVet, as this is something I would have loved to have had available when I was a student!  I've helped out a bit in the creation of the Donkey section of WikiVet which I hope is going to be really useful!

I graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 2008, and was a part of the eMedia unit at the RVC until December 2013 when I started my new job as eLearning Coordinator at the University of Surrey's School of Veterinary Medicine.

I've become increasingly interested in the use of Virtual Patients in Veterinary Education.  These are computer simulations of patients that you are able to interact with, diagnose and treat.  These are used extensively in medical education and are now starting to creep in to Veterinary education.
