I am currently responsible for putting together the WikiVet newsletter, which is sent out to all WikiVet users who wish to receive it.  It is designed to keep you up to date with all the many changes that are going on with WikiVet, and also suggests content we think you may find interesting.

I'm currently responsible for all WikiVet registrations. Users may only register with WikiVet if they are related to the Veterinary profession, we monitor registrations and block anyone who is falsely trying to access WikiVet.

I graduated from the [[RVC|Royal Veterinary College]] in 2008, since then I've been part of the [http://www.rvc.ac.uk/eMedia/Index.cfm eMedia unit] at the RVC.

I graduated from the [[RVC|Royal Veterinary College]] in 2008, and was a part of the [http://www.rvc.ac.uk/eMedia/Index.cfm eMedia unit] at the RVC until December 2013 when I started my new job as [http://www.surrey.ac.uk/vet/people/114198/index.htm eLearning Coordinator] at the University of Surrey's School of Veterinary Medicine.

Whilst at the RVC I have been involved in developing a range of [http://www.rvc.ac.uk/review e-Learning materials] for students, one of which is the [http://www.rvc.ac.uk/Review/documents/CanineRadiographs.pps Canine Radiographs program]which is now downloadable.

I've become increasingly interested in the use of [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Virtual_patient Virtual Patients] in Veterinary Education.  These are computer simulations of patients that you are able to interact with, diagnose and treat.  These are used extensively in medical education and are now starting to creep in to Veterinary education. I've been working for [http://www.nottingham.ac.uk/vet/index.aspx Nottingham Veterinary School] to develop Virtual patients using their [http://www.nottingham.ac.uk/xerte/toolkits.htm Xerte platform]; expect to see [[:Category:Virtual_Patient|more virtual patients]] appearing on WikiVet soon!

This website is dedicated to helping RVC students and graduates in their transition into professional life.  I help send out the RVC4Life newsletter every quarter which keeps RVC alumni updated with what'd going on at their old college.
