Introduction

The School of Veterinary Science is a part of The University of Queensland. Established in 1936, it was the 3rd veterinary school to be opened in Australia, although was closed during the years of 1942 - 1946 due to World War II. It is one of two public universities offering veterinary science in Queensland, and one of seven in Australia. The School has a reputation for teaching, research and some of the best clinical facilities in the southern hemisphere.
