What I hope to get out of this project

I hope to see possibilities for using novel methods in teaching of veterinary undergraduates, that also have an impact to the wider veterinary community

My best learning experience

My Cambridge Physiology Part II. I have lost count of the number of times I have fallen back on the knowldege of techniques that I learnt during this year, despite at the time thinking it was probably going to be irrelevant to my future career.

Pathology that interests me

Neuropathology interests me so that I can learn why I failed to treat my patients sucessfully and consider what I can do differently next time.

Pathology that is difficult

I find all pathology challenging

Day one thoughts

The Wiki as an educational tool has potential at the undergraduate level

What (three things) I learnt today

  • How easy it is to change things on the Wiki
  • Who else is involved
  • That it is a common experience that finding time to add/edit the Wiki can be dificult

What I still need to learn

How many of my images I should junk and reacquire.

How I feel about what has happened today

Very positive, there are still issues that concern me, but overall I can see the benefits shoud easily outway any problems
