Before coming to University (when I still had spare time!) I was a member of the Air Training Corps.  This meant I got to do what most boys love; shooting rifles, flying planes, that kind of thing.  It was here that I really learned the value of Teamwork that I hope to bring into my worklife now

Since working for the RVC i've become increasingly interested in the use of Virtual Patients in Veterinary Education.  These are computer simulations of patients that you are able to interact with, diagnose and treat.  These are used extensively in medical education and are now starting to creep in to Veterinary education.  Expect to see [[:Category:Virtual Patients|more virtual patients]] appearing on WikiVet soon!

 

==What I hope to get out of this project ==

 

I hope to be able to develop the [[WikiClinical]] side of WikiVet, as this is something I would have loved to have had available when I was a student!  I've helped out a bit in the creation of the [[Donkey|Donkey section]] of WikiVet which I hope is going to be really useful!
