Since working for the RVC I've become increasingly interested in the use of Virtual Patients in Veterinary Education.  These are computer simulations of patients that you are able to interact with, diagnose and treat.  These are used extensively in medical education and are now starting to creep in to Veterinary education.  I've been working for [http://www.nottingham.ac.uk/vet/index.aspx Nottingham Veterinary School] to develop Virtual patients using their [http://www.nottingham.ac.uk/xerte/toolkits.htm Xerte platform]; expect to see [[:Category:Virtual_Patient|more virtual patients]] appearing on WikiVet soon!

I'm also involved in the RVC's alumni website, [www.rvc.ac.uk/RVC4Life RVC4Life].  This website is dedicated to helping RVC students and graduates in their transition into professional life.  I help send out the RVC4Life newsletter every quarter which keeps RVC alumni updated with what'd going on at their old college.
