Proliferation of fibrous tissue with a variety of osteoid, [[Enamel Organ#Cementum|cementum]] or [[Enamel Organ#Dentinedentine]] like material. Isolated strands or islands of odontogenic epithelium are always present (ie: suggesting induction of connective tissue by the epithelial cells).
