The Faculty of Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry came into existence, as a constituent unit of the University with a mandate of professional teaching and extension in Veterinary and Animal Sciences.The aim of the Faculty of Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry, Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology is to produce qualified Veterinary graduates and postgraduates, conduct need based research in the filed of Veterinary and Animal Sciences and transfer of technology to the animal rearing community of the State.
