The research activities are coordinated through the Directorate of Research. Funding support for the research activities includes IAAS fund as well as external funding by national and international organizations. The institute provides fund to all the students for their internship research.In addition to internship and M.V.Sc research several other researches are carried out by the departments itself.
The institute publishes the research findings in an annual publication entitled "Journal of Institute of Agriculture and Animal Science".
