Faculty of Veterinary Medicine was  founded in 1987 and started its function  in 1988. at the begining the faculty just has five assistant professors and has a bachelor's of Veterinary Laboratory science as a level of study but in 2005 the University started to get students for DVM Degree, in 2012 the University expanded it's educational level by getting student in Master of sciences in veterinary Parasitology and Veterinary Histology and Bachelor's of meat inspection and hygiene

Holding a degree of Veterinary Technician is necessary for gaining  admission to Veterinary  medicine Laboratory Sciences and students are qualified through the National Entrance Examination held annually by the Iranian Ministry of Science, Research and Technology. In this course of study, students graduate by passing 73 credits in BSc  of Veterinary medicine Laboratory sciences .
