== Guide to creating links from WikiVet to Vetstream ==
You can login to Vetstream with a student WikiVet account by [https://staging.vetstream.com/ following this link] - one you are in Vetstream you should be able tom access the whole site without re-logging in again
Step 1 : Search WikiVet for relevant pages which have an equine theme. Suggest this is done by working through the Species option on the home page in the first instance.
Step 2 : Review the links on Vetstream [https://staging.vetstream.com/equis Equis Staging server] or [https://www.vetstream.com/equis Permanent server] to identify general categories which mesh with the WikiVet pages
Step 3: Add a template link to the bottom of each relevant WikiVet page like the example below :
{{Learning
|Vetstream = [https://staging.vetstream.com/canis/Content/Freeform/fre00907 Perioperative complications: GI surgery]
}}
Step 4 : Keep a record of the pages you have edited in a spreadsheet with name of page/URL and links added
Please note
- at present the content we are linking to is on a [https://staging.vetstream.com/equis Equis Staging server] but this will switch to the [https://www.vetstream.com/equis Permanent server] . So all links that are added to WikiVet must be WITHOUT the "staging"" insert and INCLUDE "www"
- there are good help pages on WikiVet about [https://commons.wikivet.net/images/b/b8/Editing_a_WikiVet_Page.pdf how to edit pages]
