What current exists on the wiki. Leaner and meaner than the original design, but still bit of a porker when more than two links used. Choosing this design eliminates the requirement to rewrite the code, and does provides a slightly neater and ordered (and only slightly larger frame).

Even more cut down on the design above. Space is saved when more than two links used, but you lose the structure used above. It also requires substantial re-writing of the code, not that this is an issue.
